Come and support local musicians and music education!!!!

Reggae. Punk. Electronica. Classic rock.

All of these genres evoke different emotions and are all equally represented here in the Capital Region. For one day they will represent one cause: music education in the schools. For the second year in a row, Sunmark Federal Credit Union will sponsor its Shine music series to benefit music education in the schools. Never has jamming for a cause meant so much.

All proceeds from this year's event will be donated to the music education programs at the Albany High School and Central Park Middle School in Schenectady. Programs that need the funding in order for the students to enjoy playing music, in addition to the exciting world of calculus and chemistry.

If you think you have what it takes to jam with the Capital Region's best, join up and get amped in to a great cause.
